Afraid to try something new? Press On

I've got tons of great ideas that I often look past due to one thing. Fear of failure. Here's what a couple brilliant folks of the last century had to say about failure.

"Anyone who has never made a mistake has never tried anything new." Albert Einstein
"Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently." Henry Ford

Failures are going to occur, it's inevitable. It's what you do when those times comes that matters. If you've got something God is calling you to do, push through that fear, understand that things might not work out how you'd like, but you've got to press on.

Philippians 3:14
says "I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." According to that, it sounds like it's not always going to be easy, even when you are doing what you're called to. Yet, we need to press on.

You know, when you do press through that fear, you might find out that you actually can do what you were afraid to try.

"One of the greatest discoveries a man makes, one of his great surprises, is to find he can do what he was afraid he couldn't do." Henry Ford

Press On,
Tyler
