Be Thankful

On Friday night, we took a group of kids from school to look at the cranes. Apparently, last weekend was the peak viewing time of the year to see these birds. On the way, several of the kids were amazed to see cows. Now, we live in Nebraska, any time you go out of town in any direction, you are bound to see cows. These kids spend the majority of their lives stuck within a mile or two of their homes. This is a little thing, but it just reminded me how blessed I am. I tend to take all of these little things for granted, and I can get pretty wrapped up in little issues in my life. Sometimes we need those little reminders. Be sure to thank God for all He has given you, even in the times when you don't feel like it.
