Confessions of a Pastor

Wow, I'm only on page 32, and I think this is my new favorite book. I wanted to try to read through the whole thing this week at camp, but obviously that hasn't happened. I guess I'm kind of happy, because now I can spend more time digging through it. Anyways, I'd like to quote all of page 32, but here's a little nugget for ya. I think these things, but have a tough time getting them across to "church people", whether it is from fear of speaking up to some of them, or just poor communication.

"If these people don't know Christ, why should they be judged by His standards?" This is something that really frustrates me (however I'm just as guilty as the next guy). We (Christ-followers) know Him and we don't even live up to those standards.

Thanks Craig for saying things like this, that some of the rest of us are thinking, but can't get them out.

This has actually become one of my favorite books as well... it's simply written, easy to read and says what a lot of us have thought.

Thanks for sharing!
